Get in touch: Visit dashboard.openforestprotocol.org and click on “Create New Account” A team member will reach out to you and help you through the process.
2. Create a NEAR Wallet: Your OFP Account Manager will provide you with a link to create a NEAR wallet. For the full set of instructions on this step click here and read pages 5-14.
3. Connect your NEAR Wallet to OFP Project Operator Dashboard Sign into the Project Operator Dashboard (dashboard.openforestprotocol.org) by connecting your NEAR wallet.
4. Register your Organization
You will be presented with initial prompts to determine the type of project you would like to register. Please read through the information, click 'Register Project' and declare the 'Project Type'.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a Afforestation/Reforestation project type wanting to apply for carbon financing, when you click 'Next' you will be presented with the following screen (below), please click 'Carbon'.
ALL other project types, when clicking 'Next', will be presented with the following screen (below). If you would like to apply for carbon financing once a methodology becomes available for your project type, click 'I am also interested in carbon financing'.
Please continue to complete the form on the 'Launch a New Project' page. Please inform your OFP Account Manager when you have completed this stage so OFP can whitelist your organization.
Once you have notified your Account Manager, please wait 48 hrs, log back in using > dashboard.openforestprotocol.org and continue, you are now ready to create your projects on OFP!
